Certificate III Early Childhood Education & Care

(CHC30113)

Course information:

  • Class runs every Monday and Tuesday 9am-3pm in class and online

  • Course length 5-6 months

  • Gain practical hands-on 120 hours of Vocational Placement (work experience)

  • User friendly online access to all learning materials for 10 years after completion

  • Flexible delivery options

Occupational titles may include:

  • Early childhood educator

  • Playgroup supervisor

  • Family day care worker

  • Outside school hours care assistant

  • Recreation assistant

  • Nanny Mobile assistant

  • Preschool assistant

Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care

(CHC50113)

Course information:

  • Class runs every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 9am-3pm in class and online (blended learning)

  • Course length: 12 months

  • Gain practical experience with 240 hours of Vocation Placement (work experience)

  • User friendly online access to all learning materials for 10 years after completion

  • Flexible delivery options

  • Certificate III units can be used for a credit transfer towards Diploma

Occupational Titles May include:

  • Early childhood coordinator

  • Playgroup supervisor

  • Family daycare supervisor

  • Lead educator

  • Design and implementing curriculum

Certificate 3 Guarantee and Higher Level Skills Program

The funded programs are open to any Queensland resident aged 15 years or over who is:

  • No longer at school (with the exception of VET in Schools students)

  • Is an Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident (including humanitarian entrants), or a temporary resident with the necessary visa and work permits on the pathway to permanent residency.

Certificate III funded for $200:

  • You must not be enrolled in or have completed a certificate III level or higher qualification, not including qualifications completed at school or foundations skills training.

  • You may be eligible for Back to Work Funding if you have already completed a Certificate III or above. Please call to enquire.

Diploma funded for $380:

  • You must not be currently enrolled in or have completed a certificate IV or higher-level qualification, not including qualifications completed at school or foundations skills training.

  • You may be eligible for Back to Work Funding if you have already completed a Certificate III or above. Please call to enquire.

Back to Work Funding 

B2W Funding is available for people who have a qualification, but also fulfill one of the below;

  • change careers,

  • find employment 

  • are at risk of losing their job due to lack of qualifications
