Certificate III in Individual Support
Training Tailor Made offers the Certificate III in Individual Support specialising in either Ageing, Disability or Home and Community.
This qualification will equip you with the skills to provide a high level of personal, physical and emotional support to clients with high care needs. This qualification will allow you to secure a community care role in one of the three sectors listed below.
Aged care, disability, and home and community care are among Australia’s fastest growing industries with an increasing demand for passionate and qualified employees. The Certificate III in Individual Support is also a stepping stone towards a fulfilling career in nursing.

Home and Community Care
Note: you will have the opportunity to complete more than one of these specialised fields to gain a dual qualification
Class runs every Thursday and Friday 9am-3pm
The duration of the course is 4-6 months
You will gain practical experience during 120 hours of Vocational Placement (work experience) as well as in class simulations
Our user friendly online resources can be accessed at all times and for up to 10 years after completion.
You will have the opportunity to complete an additional 2 units to receive a dual Certificate III in Aged Care and Home and Community Care
Or an additional 5 units to receive a dual Certificate III in Aged Care and Disability
This qualification addresses work primarily in residential facilities under direct or regular supervision within clearly defined organisation guidelines and service plans.
Are you eligible for government funding?
The Certificate 3 Guarantee program is open to any Queensland resident who is:
15 years or over who is no longer at school (with the exception of VET in Schools students)
An Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident (including humanitarian entrants), or a temporary resident with the necessary visa and work permits on the pathway to permanent residency.
Not currently enrolled in or have completed a certificate III level or higher qualification. You are still eligible if you have completed a certificate at school, or if you have completed an English language course
